Alam joined EPIC in 2000, arriving from a senior role in audit and accounts at SPW Accountants. He is responsible for presenting and reporting accurate, timely financial information to shareholders, joint venture partners, investors and key members of the management team.
He has direct responsibility for accounting, finance, forecasting, strategic planning, investor relationships, partnership compliance, private and institutional financing. Alam also maintains and processes the portfolio valuation, rigorously checking that effective internal controls are in place, ensuring compliance with GAAP and other applicable regulations for financial and tax reporting.
